Vestri Chocolate
Vestri is an Italian chocolate company with locations in Arezzo and Florence. While studying abroad, my classmates and I worked on an international advertising campaign for the company. Our goal was to use our skills to determine where Vestri should enter the U.S. based on its audience and demographic.
I was a part of the promotions team tasked with background research, creating marketing ideas, implementation strategies, and creating deliverables to promote future events.
Research
Although I was on the marketing and promotions team, we still conducted research to help the overall campaign. Our team was in charge of determining where Vestri should open its flagship store in the United States. I conducted the SWOT analysis for Vestri, and found tradeshows and exhibitions to participate in. My team and I compiled lists of the top four cities ideal for Vestri and dug into those. We then presented our top two cities to the larger team and discussed what our final decision would be.
Events & Promotions
Once we determined the best place for Vestri’s first store. Our team brainstormed ideas to get the Vestri name out there. We created a list of promotional events such as wine pairings with Vestri chocolate and DIY chocoalte charcuterie board. We created deliverables for four of our ideas through Canva.
Chicago and Boston were our two cities we presented to the owner of Vestri. We found media outlets, influeners and partnerships in each of the cities that would be utlized to promote Vestri.
